Dark, corky wing-shaped leaves put on a stunning show in autumn, with bright, rich crimson tones. Small, pale green-yellow flowers in spring are followed by red-purple fruits in autumn which split to reveal bright orange seeds
Give this colourful shrub pride of place in a front garden border – it will thrive in full sun or partial shade
Grows to 1.5-2.5m high and wide within 10-20 years
Hardy down to a frozen -20 degrees, this is a very low maintenance plant
Pest resisant and drought tolerant
